What is a Secret Santa? Everyone who joins fills out a form detailing what they might like as a gift from someone. This can be canon ships, gen, your Gravity Falls oc, oc x canon, or reader insert. Fanfiction or fanart is often the media chosen between the gifter and the giftee. At the end of the sign-up period the mods will go through everyone's applications and match people up! This will be done manually so no one has to work on something they don’t like [Some people don’t like certain ships, characters or don’t like doing other people's OCs]Sign-ups open on October 1st and close October 31st
Emails will be sent out on November 1st with your match-up. This gives you all of November and most of December to prepare your pieces.You will not be paired with anyone who wants content you aren’t comfortable with but if you have any issues with the match you have been given email as soon as possible!No one is allowed to post until December 25th! Which is the absolute deadline.Once posted we will have an AO3 collection to add pieces to. Just tag us on tumblr and we will reblog as well as tagging the person you're gifting.
Rules-You need to give at least three weeks' notice if you can’t finish your gift.-All ships are valid and may be requested, except for minors aged up to pair with adults or minors with adults.-No one’s social media will be judged when signing up for this event.-Fanfic minimum is 1k words.- Art must be a fully finished piece.-All skill sets are welcome!-If you ghost the project and fail to finish your piece, you won’t be allowed back in future events.-Mods are here to help. Please reach out via email if there is anything we can do to help.-OCs are allowed. Please make sure you supply a full reference when you sign-up.-You can only sign up to do one piece.- All requests and pieces must be SFW!We hope you have a great time!
